Meet Namhla
Born in Mthatha and deeply rooted in the village of Tsolo. Namhla is a quietly bold, sharply intuitive and creative soul. In the stillness of the 2020 lockdown, she had a vivid dream of her late brother saying, “Go around the mountain; there you will find what you’re looking for.”
A week later, she found herself remelting an old candle—a small, reflective act that unexpectedly sparked a powerful idea and set everything into motion. A self-taught formulator with a BA Honours degree in Media Studies and a Diploma in Public Relations, she weaves in her academic background, rural upbringing and cultural heritage in every creation.
